NBA's Bulls Lock Up Rose And Noah For 2010-2011 Season

Chicago Exercises Contract Options on Both Young Talents

The Chicago Bulls exercised contract options on both point guard Derrick Rose, and forward Joakim Noah for the 2010-2011 NBA basketball season. Chicago native Derrick Rose averaged an impressive 16.8 points and 6.3 assists in his rookie season after being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft. His outstanding play won him the rookie of the year honors, and he also led the Bulls to the playoffs last season. Noah was the ninth pick in the 2007 NBA draft and has been a solid contributor to the Bulls averaging 6.7 points and 6.6 rebounds over the last two seasons.

The move is certainly no surprise to anyone in the basketball world as both young talents have a very promising NBA career ahead of them, especially Derrick Rose. Rose is the focal point of the offense and the key to the team's successful continuity on the court. He is an excellent NBA bet to garner the MVP of the league one day and is sure to help the betting line odds of the Bulls becoming a true playoff contender in the NBA in the very near future. Noah may not have nearly the impact on the team that Rose does, but he is getting better each year and is a solid contributor with the potential to be a top player in the NBA in the future.
