If the recent video evidence circulating around the net is in fact San Diego Padres Brian Giles beating his pregnant girl friend, then karma is about to catch up to another sports creep.
The couple apparently lived together from 2002-2008 in a "marriage type" of relationship that had some obvious problems including his girl friend suffering two miscarriages and one due to Brian Giles abuse.
Cheri Olvera (Giles Ex-GF) accuses Giles of "hitting and slapping plaintiff in the face; pushing plaintiff; shaking plaintiff; kicking plaintiff; hitting plaintiff in the chest; knocking plaintiff to the floor, battering plaintiff twice when she was pregnant with the parties' child, causing plaintiff to suffer a miscarriage" in a recent law suit. She is expecting 10 million in damages from Giles.
Olvera also alleges that she and Giles had an agreement that would divide benefits if they were to separate. She further stats that Giles breached that agreement and failed to divide assets they shared together.

Giles is a San Diego native who owns a career batting average of .294 and recently vetoed a possible trade to the Boston Red Sox to stay closer to home.
