The Pacman Cometh and Now the Pacman Gone-Part Two

When BetSportsWeb's Scott Rivers wrote a piece titled "The Pacman Cometh" I doubt if he would have imagined football being the mechanism of Jones's ultimate demise. Sure, a gun fight, a Larry Johnson bitch slap, or any other endless scenarios that plagues many of today's NFL athletes'. But, getting grounded for a football injury? No it can't be!

As it turns out Dallas Cowboys Adam "Pacman" Jones sustained a serious neck injury in a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. So serious was the injury that sources say not only is his season over, but possibly his career in football.

TADAH! It's gone!!! Indeed.

This is bad news for the Boys who desperately need a win against rivals New York Giants this week. Jerry Jones took another huge gamble on a "complicated" player and failed again. I doubt if this is a wake up call for Jones, but many professional owners may start to weigh the risk and rewards with troubled players.

The silver and blue lining for Pacman is the fact he can devote his entire life to being a thug.
