The Boston Celtics

It's almost unfair. The Patriots were back in the Super Bowl this year, The Red Sox won another World Series, and now the Celtics have the best record in the NBA at 65-16.

It's an impressive turn around for the franchise and allows them home court advantage in the playoffs. The trio of Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, and Ray Allen has been almost unstoppable. The 6-7 Pierce is leading the team with 19.8 points per game followed closely by Kevin Garnett at 19.0 per game.

Former Kentucky star Rajon Rondo helped the Celtics by posted 23 points and 10 rebounds in a season sweep of the Knicks Monday night and has looked strong all year. With Sam Cassell and a solid bench Doc Rivers team looks very complete, but they will need that swager to win the playoffs to truly make this a Cinderella story.
